July 4th Monterey Trip

Klesis 3 drove down to spend the 4th of July weekend in Monterey where we played sports, grilled food and made s'mores over a bonfire, and bonded over singing songs while watching the sunset at Manresa State Beach.

Yup. That's a perfectly roasted marshmallow (with melted chocolate inside!) on top of a Krispy Kreme donut...it was pretty good.

On the next day, we hung out at Asilomar Beach and checked out the tide pools there.

     

We capped off the trip with an awesome tri-tip dinner before heading home to Berkeley, and we even got to watch fireworks along the freeway on our way home!
