Yosemite!

Some sights can't be justified by simple conversation, appreciated through images or even described with the greatest poetry. While a bunch of college guys at Chick-Fil-A may or may not be one of those sights, Yosemite definitely is. We started Friday night with a short Bible study at Klesis House about 1 Corinthians 12, the Body of Christ and its many members. Even though each of us have different gifts and some with more than others, there are no qualifications to be in this family of believers known as the Church of Jesus Christ. As we split up into preaching groups to bless each other with minute-long messages, we had fun with the body part analogies that Apostle Paul uses in this particular passage. It was an awesome way to transition into our next 24 hours with each other, as we set off with the mentality of being one in Christ.

After a fantastic dinner, it was off to the house that we would be staying at for the night. An Airbnb home, it came with all the standard amenities that a group of college guys need, including foosball and pool tables. But it was also a beautiful home, and we were very grateful to have the house to fellowship in and just enjoy each other's company. This included a game of sardines with all the lights off, a personal favorite activity for some of the brothers. Mischief ensued under the protection of the night, and there were frights indeed (muahahahaha).

After late night munchies and early breakfast deliciousness, it was off to the park! It was even some of the guys' first time ever taking in the breathtaking views of Yosemite, and even though we weren't able to hike as much as we'd have liked due to weather conditions, it also meant the mountains were capped with beautiful, pure white snow.
