Two weeks into instruction, and this school thing is starting to get tough again. So we in Klesis left behind the stresses and the clouds of home to hit up the beautiful beaches of Monterey. We arrived at the house late Friday night, and played a couple crazy rounds of intense name games.

The following morning we headed out to the Point Lobos State Reserve. While on our hike we tried lifting a giant boulder that we named our life burdens and experienced the wonder and beauty of the tide pools. Hermit crabs, starfish, sea urchins and more!

Once we returned from a full day of coastal explorations, with a quick pit stop at cannery row for ice cream and even water pressure massages (looking at you Gavin, Eric and Jason), we devoured a crazy good brisket dinner. Thanks Jenny, Kerri and Valeria for prepping!

We finished off the night with watching Glory and appreciating the courage and sacrifice of the 54th Massachusetts.

Sad to be back, time to hit the books. See you next time KJHG!
