Klesis at Element HS Retreat

This past weekend a small group of Klesis students and staff got the opportunity to serve at the Element Hs Winter retreat. For many of us, this was especially meaningful as we had grown up in Element and had received so much love and had so many pivotal moments in Element.

Pouring ourselves out in service was such a cool way for us to give back and remember our roots.

Many of us served on band, tech, games, and Isaiah gave a powerful gospel message (and ofc a freestyle rap) on the last night. And we got to participate in one of the iconic Element campfires.

Despite the rain and the cold it was a great time of reconnecting with God, making commitments, reconciling relationships ... and I was just so glad to have been there for it. In a culture swamped with lethargy and cynicism, numbness and distractions, they have a faith that is worthy of pouring out their passion for, a community that can become a catalyst for gospel change on their campuses, and years ahead of them of walking closer with God. Isn't it exciting?
